Games at Freedom Postponed..... (2016-12-30 00:50:49)

The two title games of the Freedom Christmas Invitational, as well as both third-place games, will now be played Friday at the same time as planned for Thursday, starting at 4 p.m., due to a lengthy power outage Thursday afternoon at FHS. The Avery

game was near hafltime when the power outage occurred. The game was canceled and will not be rescheduled. The Vikings go 1-1 in tournament play.

 

GIRLS

 Third-place: R-S Central (10-2) vs. McDowell (4-8), 4 p.m.

Championship: East Burke (9-2) vs. Freedom (8-1), 7 p.m.

 

BOYS

Third-place: McDowell (10-2) vs. East Burke (3-8), 5:30 p.m.

Championship: Hibriten (5-2) vs. Freedom (8-1), 8:30 p.m.
