One Dead After Stabbing At Tyson Foods Wilkesboro (2016-12-07 14:30:44)

Wilkesboro Police responded to a stabbing incident at Tyson Foods Monday that left one man dead.

After 911 call about an altercation between two employees, police arrived at 701 South Factory Street and witnesses identified Sein Win, of High Point, who was taken into custody without incident.

Officers were directed to employees who were injured during the altercation. Marco Mariano Alva of North Wilkesboro and John Tyler Fox of Lenoir both had multiple stab wounds and were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, who underwent emergency surgery. Police later indicated that Alva had died.

Wilkesboro Police say Win, Fox and Alva worked in the same area at Tyson and were involved in a verbal exchange just before the stabbings occurred. 

Sein Win has been charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He’s in the Wilkes Detention Center with a bond of $250,000 secured.
