AppalCART Has Proposed Route Changes For Fall, Public Hearing Scheduled (2018-06-18 15:49:03)

AppalCART is proposing route changes for this coming fall semester.

The changes are designed to increase capacity, handle peak demands, improve accessibility, and operate fixed route service more efficiently. The changes are intended to support Appalachian State University facility changes including the new Health Sciences Building, moving freshman parking from the State Farm Lot to the Old Watauga High School, and construction of the new End Zone building and dormitories in the Stadium Drive area.

A public hearing to receive comments has been scheduled for June 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the AppalCART facility.
