Littleton Indicted On Murder Charges In Tennessee (2018-05-28 13:22:12)

A Tennessee Grand Jury has indicted Robert Leroy Littleton III with first-degree murder in the kidnapping and possible death of Carlton Lamaar Edmondson.

The Watauga Democrat reports Littleton who is being held in Burke County pending extradition and was charged in Johnson County with first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping, extortion, conspiracy to commit extortion and aggravated assault.

Littleton is also facing charges in Burke County.

Authorities say Littleton and Leighkatherine Mina, age 30, of Boone, kidnapped Edmondson in Morganton in January, took him to various locations in Watauga and Ashe County, and with a group of four other individuals, took Edmnson to an area near Trade Tennessee and beat him and left him there.
