High Country Radio Kicks Off Santa's Toy Box Campaign Friday (2016-12-01 14:52:30)

Each year, the stations of High Country Radio and our advertisers partner with Santa's Toy Box to help make the holidays merry for local children.

We're hosting a toy drop-off to kick off the campaign this Friday, December 2nd at our studios at 738 Blowing Rock Road in Boone.
We'll be right out front saying "ho ho ho" to everyone and collecting toys and cash donations.

Santa’s Toy Box was born from a small outreach ministry of a local church and has become a huge community event. Begun in 1986, the program has attracted the attention and assistance of many other churches, civic groups and organizations. Today, Santa's Toy Box not only provides four new toys for each registered child, but also a new book and other items for the family, such as Christmas ornaments and clothing.

This year, Santa and his elves are hard at work once again filling up the “Toy Box,” so come help us out on Friday. We want to fill up the shiny, new DISCOVERY CHEVROLET pick-up truck for the kids!
Brought to you by Bouquet Florist, XTreme Gun and Pawn, and Boone Drug and High Country Jewelry and Gifts.

In addition, on Saturday December 3rd, Mike Kelly will be at Bouquet Florist collecting donations for Santa's Toy Box. Stop in Bouquet Florist, by Los Arcoiris and Burger King on Saturday, and bring your donations for Santa's Toy Box!
