Make Your Extra Tickets Available for Heroes Day (Nov. 19)
BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State will hold Heroes Day during its final home game on Nov. 19 against UL Monroe at Kidd Brewer Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. App State will honor our military veterans and first responders throughout game.
Tickets not used for the day of the game can be returned to the App State Ticket Office and be made available at no cost to military veterans, first responders, and student veterans.
“I would like to encourage our season ticket holders to donate any tickets they are not using to our military veterans and first responders,” App State Director of Athletics Doug Gillin said. “It is also Senior Day at The Rock and we will recognize an impressive group of seniors playing their final home game, which has significant Sun Belt Championship implications.”
Anyone not using their tickets to the game can return them by calling the App State Athletic Ticket Office at 828-262-2079, Mon.-Fri. between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Donated tickets will be redistributed to our Heroes and their families who want to attend the game, free of charge.
Fans can also purchase tickets for the UL Monroe and choose to have them donated to student veterans. To purchase tickets, visit the athletics ticket office located inside the Holmes Center or by calling 828-262-2079.
App State (7-2, 5-0 Sun Belt) travels to Troy, Ala. this Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. kick with Troy. The game will be carried on ESPN3. Both teams enter the game unbeaten in Sun Belt play.
