After a Recount, MXC Tie for Fourth at HPUU (2016-10-15 20:55:47)

KERNERSVILLE, N.C.  –  After a recalculation of points, Appalachian State University men’s cross country tied with Northern Kentucky for fourth with 140 points at the HPU VertCross Invitational on Friday night. Chris Anderson (Greensboro, N.C./Westchester County Day) highlighted the night grasping the 8k individual title. George Mason clinched the team crown with 67 team points and Duke  (87 points) and East Tennessee State (116 points) took second and third.

Van Ord Finishes in Second; WXC Take Second at HPU....KERNERSVILLE, N.C.  –  Appalachian State University women’s cross country finished in second with 72 points at HPU’s VertCross Invitational on Friday night. The Duke Blue Devils edged out the Mountaineers by two points to take first (70 points), and Richmond landed in third (109 points). Tristin Van Ord (Chapel Hill, N.C./Chapel Hill) was App’s top finisher in Kernersville, N.C.
