Boone Film Festival To Host Multiple Screenings This Week (2018-10-30 14:55:02)

The 3rd annual Boone Film Festival is in full swing this week with multiple screenings happening at multiple locations.

The festival will showcase films with three different thematic categories: adventure, culture and environment. There is also a youth category for filmmakers 17 years old and younger.

On Tuesday, October 30th at 6 p.m., there will be a screening of the film “Hillbilly” at the I.G. Greer Theatre on the ASU campus.

On Thursday, November 1st at 6 p.m., the best films from the youth category will be screened in the Ross Auditorium at Watauga High School.

On Friday, November 2nd at 6 p.m. and on Saturday, November 3rd at 2 p.m., special screenings will be held in room 114 of the Belk Library at ASU.

The main event and awards ceremony is Saturday, November 3rd at 6 p.m. in the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts.
