Man Arrested In Boone On Seven Drug Charges (2018-10-25 14:53:01)

A man from Craven County was arrested on seven drug charges during a traffic stop in Boone made by the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office on October 20th.

The Watauga Democrat reports 43-year-old William Frances Andrews Jr. was charged with felony trafficking heroin, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to a half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, two counts of misdemeanor possession of a schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and driving with a revoked license.

According to the report, Andrews also had an outstanding warrant in Beaufort County and an order for arrest in Craven County.

He was released on bond the day of his arrest.

Andrews court date is set for November 21st.
