Todd New River Festival Returns October 13th (2018-10-05 14:56:31)

The 25th annual Todd New River Festival is coming up in Todd on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The family event features music, food, crafts, children’s activities and booths from local vendors, agricultural growers and nonprofit agencies.

The festival is held at the Walter and Annie Cook Park on Railroad Grade Road in Todd.

The festival is presented by the Todd Ruritan Club and all proceeds benefit the local community, including college scholarships, community projects and support for families facing hardships.

The Ruritan Club will be serving barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, fixings and drinks throughout the day.

Other activities include face painting for children, games and a raffle, as well as the annual presentation of the “Key to Todd” by the Ruritan Club.

The local entertainers will play a variety of gospel, bluegrass, blues and country music from start to finish.

Admission to the festival is free for all ages. Parking for the event will be $5 at the South Fork Baptist Church. All proceeds from parking will benefit the church’s mission work.
