Propane Tank Starts Fire At Warrensville LifeStore Bank (2018-09-27 15:01:12)

The source of the September 18th fire at LifeStore Bank in Warrensville is believed to be a propane tank.

The Ashe Post and Times reports that after what appeared to be a small landslide behind the bank, a propane tank was shoved against a meter. The meter arced and caused an explosion of propane.

The two bank employees made it out of the building safely, and are currently working at LifeStore branches in Boone and West Jefferson.

A statement released by the bank said the building cannot be used until further notice, as there’s still a lot of unanswered questions.

A new statement will be released when the bank has more information.
