Gasoline In Flux Across NC After Hurricane Florence (2018-09-25 15:09:02)

Gas prices are varying greatly across North Carolina, as the state recovers from Hurricane Florence.

Many parts of the state are seeing cheaper, more stable gas prices, while other parts don’t have access to gas at all.

The High Country is seeing those cheaper and stable prices.

Gasbuddy.com reports the average gas price in Boone is about $2.72 per gallon, and West Jefferson is about $2.57 per gallon.

According to AAA Carolinas, the state average is currently $2.67 per gallon, a one-cent decrease from last week.

North Carolina is currently in the list of the top ten states with lowest gas price average.
