Four Sent To Hospital After Single Car Crash In Blowing Rock (2018-09-18 15:09:23)

Four people were injured in a single car accident in Blowing Rock last Thursday.

The Watauga Democrat reports the accident happened in the area of George Hayes Road around 6:15 in the evening.

According to the report, a Dodge Ram truck was forced off the road by a vehicle that crossed into the oncoming traffic lane. This caused the truck to run off the road and ram into a tree.

The driver, 34-year-old Thomas Owen Teague of Lenoir, was flown to Johnson City Medical Center with severe injuries.

The three passengers in the truck, 20-year-old Bethann Ashley of Boone, 24-year-old Thomas Jackson Mast of Sugar Grove and 24-year-old Clyde Dylan Ashley of Boone, were transported to Watauga Medical Center for minor injuries.
