West Jefferson Man Faces Multiple Charges After Breaking And Entering (2018-09-13 15:52:38)

A West Jefferson man is facing multiple misdemeanor and felony charges.

The Ashe Post and Times reports that 31-year-old Joseph T. Green was arrested by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office on September 5th, on charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods and possession of burglary tools.

According to the report, Green was also charged with possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and carrying a concealed gun upon his arrest.

The drug and gun charges are misdemeanors, and the breaking and entering charges are felonies.

Green is being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $35,000 bond.
