LIFE Village To Celebrate First Tiny Home With Ribbon Cutting (2018-08-24 15:53:32)

Boone’s LIFE (Living Innovations For Exceptional) Village is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for its first tiny home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28th.

LIFE village is a nonprofit working to develop an inclusive community for adults with autism and related disorders.

The Mountain Times reports the first tiny home was built through a partnership with Appalachian State University and its construction and design program.

According to the report, the home is located at 692 N.C. 105 bypass across from Westview Baptist Church.

The home will be used as an office for LIFE Village until a permanent location is secured for future residents.
