Boone Police Arrest Two Suspects In Credit Card Fraud Operation (2018-08-23 15:18:30)

Boone Police apprehended two suspects of a nationwide credit card fraud operation with international implications on Monday night.

The two arrested were Norris Felton McLoyd, 48 years of age, and Yeneyder Del Socorro Norris, 42 years of age, both of Thomasville.

The investigation began after police received information from a local bank about suspicious activity at one of their ATM machines in Boone.

A search of McLoyd and Norris and their vehicle and home revealed multiple items of evidence, including United States Currency and more than 20 fraudulent credit cards.

McLoyd and Norris were each initially charged with three felony counts of Financial Transaction Card Forgery. More charges are pending.

They are both being held in the Watauga County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
